Metadata
AI labels and credentials
C2PA manifests and AI tags from Sora, Veo, Runway and editing apps tell platforms to add an AI label. They are removed completely.
Your first removal is free · no sign-up
Remove C2PA credentials, AI metadata and duplicate fingerprints in one tap. Viewers see the same clip. Platforms see a fresh recording from a real iPhone.
Each run picks a realistic phone, weighted toward the models people use most.
Fresh, invisible changes every run

Removed: C2PA manifests, IPTC digital source type, XMP creator tool and software tags naming AI generators. Written: camera make and model, a new fingerprint and a new file hash.
Made for posting on
Why reposts flop
When a video carries AI metadata or matches something already on the platform, it can be labeled, shown to fewer people or blocked. These are the signals that give it away.
Metadata
C2PA manifests and AI tags from Sora, Veo, Runway and editing apps tell platforms to add an AI label. They are removed completely.
Frames
Sampled frames are hashed and compared with existing uploads. A 2 to 8 percent zoom and a small timing offset shift every frame.
Audio
The soundtrack is matched on its own. A barely audible speed change moves it, or remove the audio entirely in Custom mode.
What gets rewritten
AI labels and repost penalties are triggered by data hidden inside the file. HideSlop takes it out and writes back what a phone camera would.
Signed manifests that tools like ChatGPT and Adobe Firefly attach to every export. Meta, TikTok and YouTube read them to apply AI labels automatically.
Plain metadata fields that name the generator or mark the file as synthetic. They survive most editing apps, and they are the easiest signal for a platform to read.
Platforms hash frames, audio and files to catch reposts, even after a re-upload. Micro edits to zoom, timing, color and grain give every output a fingerprint of its own.
A file with no metadata looks edited. HideSlop writes the make and model of a real phone back in, so the upload reads like something you just shot.
How it works
Drop an MP4, MOV or WebM up to 150 MB. It uploads straight from your phone or computer.
C2PA and AI tags are removed, and zoom, speed, timing, color and grain shift by amounts nobody can see, giving the file a new fingerprint.
Save it to Photos or download it, then post it as a fresh upload on any platform.
16 camera profiles
Pick the phone your file should say it came from, or leave it on Random. Random picks a realistic model on every run, weighted toward the phones people actually carry, so a batch of posts never looks like it came from one device.
Pricing
Buy credits once and use them whenever you need. Bigger packs cost less per file.

For builders
Plug HideSlop into your posting pipeline or your AI agent. It uses the same credits as the web app.
curl https://hideslop.com/api/v1/remove/video \
-H "Authorization: Bearer hs_live_your_key" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"video_url": "https://example.com/clip.mp4",

}'HideSlop removes the signals platforms read to label or suppress a post: C2PA Content Credentials, AI tags in EXIF, IPTC and XMP metadata, and the visual fingerprints used to spot reposts. It then re-saves the file with tiny pixel-level variations and camera metadata from a real phone model, so it reads like an ordinary capture.
Upload the video and press Remove AI content. HideSlop slightly changes zoom, speed, timing, color and grain, re-encodes the file and writes fresh camera metadata. The result looks the same to viewers but no longer matches the original's fingerprint.
It removes the C2PA Content Credentials and AI metadata those tools embed, which is what platforms read to apply AI labels automatically. Visible watermarks drawn into the picture are not removed.
No. Auto mode keeps every change below what people notice: a 2 to 8 percent zoom, a couple of percent of speed and color variation, and light sensor grain. Custom mode lets you push any setting further.
Every IP address gets one free removal, either one video or one image, with no account. After that, credits start at $4.99 for 200 credits, which covers 20 videos or 200 images. A video costs $0.25 on the smallest pack and $0.10 on the largest.
Yes. Every run draws fresh random values, so each output has a different fingerprint from the original and from every other version. Press New version to make as many as you need.
MP4, MOV and WebM files up to 150 MB. Most videos finish in 30 seconds to a few minutes depending on length. Keep the tab open while it runs.
Pixel watermarks such as SynthID are built to survive edits, so no tool can honestly promise to remove them. HideSlop changes every pixel, which disrupts many fingerprinting methods. What we can promise is that the embedded AI metadata is removed and the file is brand new.
Uploads go straight from your browser to private storage under random keys and are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Finished files are deleted 24 hours after processing. Your content is never used for training and never shared.
Editing files you own or have rights to is legal. Some platforms ask creators to disclose realistic AI content, and you are responsible for following the rules of the platforms you post to.
Yes. A REST API and an MCP server for Claude, Cursor and other agents use the same credits as the web app. Create a key in your dashboard.
