By using HideSlop you agree to these terms. If you use HideSlop for a company, you agree on its behalf.

What HideSlop does

HideSlop removes embedded metadata from images and videos, applies small visual changes and writes new camera metadata. Platforms change how they detect and label content all the time, so we cannot promise any particular outcome on any platform.

Your content and responsibilities

• Only upload content you own or have the right to modify and publish.
• You are responsible for following the rules of the platforms you post to, including any requirement to disclose AI generated or altered content, and for complying with the law where you live.
• Do not use HideSlop for illegal content, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, fraud, impersonation, harassment, election deception or to infringe anyone's rights. We will suspend accounts and report illegal content where required.

Free use and credits

• The free tier allows one removal per IP address and may change at any time.
• Credits are sold in one-time packs, do not expire and have no cash value.
• Credits for jobs that fail are returned to your balance automatically.
• Purchases are final except where the law says otherwise. If something went wrong, email us and we will look at it.

API and MCP

• Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for usage made with your keys.
• We apply rate limits and may suspend keys that harm the service or other users.

No warranty

HideSlop is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will note it on this page before it takes effect.
