MCP server
Ask your AI to clean any video
Connect HideSlop to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client. Your agent sends a link to a video or image and gets back a clean file: no C2PA or AI metadata, a new fingerprint and camera data from a real phone.
Click to copy, then paste it into your terminal to connect Claude Code.
An AI chat with HideSlop connected. Asked to remove the AI labels from a Sora clip and its cover image, the agent runs remove_ai_video for 10 credits and remove_ai_images for 1 credit. Both come back ready: the clip as an iPhone 16 Pro recording and the cover as an iPhone 15 Pro photo, with download links that work for 24 hours.

Setup
Connect your AI tool
Pick your tool and paste one snippet. Every guide uses the same API key, from the API & MCP tab of your dashboard.
- 1Create an API key on the API & MCP tab of your dashboard.
- 2Run the command below in your terminal.
- 3Start claude and run /mcp to check that hideslop is connected.
- Add --scope user to the command to use HideSlop in every project, not only the current one.
claude mcp add --transport http hideslop https://www.hideslop.com/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer hs_live_your_key"- 1Create an API key on the API & MCP tab of your dashboard.
- 2Paste the config below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json, or into .cursor/mcp.json inside one project.
- 3Open Cursor Settings, find hideslop in the MCP list and check for a green dot.

- 2In Claude Desktop, open Settings → Developer → Edit Config and add the server below to claude_desktop_config.json.
- 3Restart Claude Desktop. The HideSlop tools show up in the tools menu of a new chat.
- This runs through mcp-remote, so Node.js must be installed. The Connectors screen can't add HideSlop: it only takes servers that sign in with OAuth.

Tools
5 tools, priced in credits
The same credits as the website and the REST API. Only the two removal tools cost anything.
remove_ai_videoRemoves C2PA credentials, AI metadata and duplicate fingerprints from a video, re-saved as a real phone recording.
10 creditsremove_ai_imagesCleans up to 20 images in one call, each with its own variation. Only images that succeed are charged.
1 credit / imageget_removalWaits for a removal that is still processing and returns its download links.
Freeget_creditsYour credit balance, and how many videos or images it covers.
Freelist_devicesThe 16 camera profiles that can be written into a file's metadata.

Just ask
Ask in plain words. Your agent picks the tool and the settings.
- Remove the AI label from this video so I can repost it: https://…
- Clean these 12 carousel slides and give me the download links
- Make this clip read as if it was shot on an iPhone 16 Pro
- Clean this video and drop the audio track
- Use the random preset so this repost looks visibly different
- Is my last removal done yet?
- How many credits do I have left?
- Which phones can you write into the metadata?
What is an MCP server?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI tools such as Claude, Cursor and Codex use outside services. The HideSlop MCP server gives your agent the same removal as the website: it sends a link to a file and gets a clean copy back.
How much does it cost?
The same credits as the website and the REST API: 10 credits for a video and 1 credit per image, charged only for files that process. Checking a removal, your balance or the device list is free. Packs start at $4.99 for 200 credits and never expire. The website's free removal does not apply to the API or MCP.
Where do I get an API key?
In your dashboard, on the API & MCP tab. Keys start with hs_live_ and work for both the REST API and the MCP server. A new key is shown only once, so paste it into your client right away. You can revoke a key at any time.
Can it clean files on my computer?
Not directly. The tools take a public link, because HideSlop downloads the file from there. Put the file somewhere reachable first, or use the website, which takes uploads.
What if a video takes longer than a minute?
Each call answers within a minute. If the video is still processing by then, your agent gets the removal id and calls get_removal until the link is ready. You are only charged once.
How long do the files last?
Download links work for 24 hours. Then the files are deleted, so save what you want to keep. Your files are never used for training.
Does it work with claude.ai?
No. Custom connectors on claude.ai, and the Connectors screen in Claude Desktop, only add servers that sign in with OAuth, and HideSlop uses API keys. Use Claude Code, or add HideSlop to Claude Desktop through its config file as the setup guide shows.
