Each run picks a realistic phone, weighted toward the models people use most.

Fresh, invisible changes every run

  • Every image gets its own variation, so no two files share a fingerprint
  • Zoom 1.01 to 1.05x and a few degrees of hue, invisible to viewers
  • Some images mirrored at random, like a front camera would
  • Re-saved as a 92 to 97% JPEG, the range real phones use
  • C2PA, IPTC and XMP AI tags removed, camera metadata written back

What gets rewritten

Everything platforms read to flag your post

AI labels and repost penalties are triggered by data hidden inside the file. HideSlop takes it out and writes back what a phone camera would.

C2PA Content Credentials

Signed manifests that tools like ChatGPT and Adobe Firefly attach to every export. Meta, TikTok and YouTube read them to apply AI labels automatically.

// example manifest
{
"claim_generator": "ChatGPT"
"action": "c2pa.created"
"digitalSourceType": "trainedAlgorithmicMedia"
}
// removed entirely

AI tags in EXIF, IPTC and XMP

Plain metadata fields that name the generator or mark the file as synthetic. They survive most editing apps, and they are the easiest signal for a platform to read.

Duplicate fingerprints

Platforms hash frames, audio and files to catch reposts, even after a re-upload. Micro edits to zoom, timing, color and grain give every output a fingerprint of its own.

// example, same clip

version 2 5c1d 8e60 0f3a b7c9

A believable camera signature

A file with no metadata looks edited. HideSlop writes the make and model of a real phone back in, so the upload reads like something you just shot.

Slideshows and carousels

Clean the whole set at once

Photo carousels are where AI images travel the furthest. Every image in a batch gets its own variation, so the set never shares a fingerprint.

TikTok

Photo mode slideshows

Post AI illustrated slideshows without the automatic AI generated tag that TikTok reads from Content Credentials.

Instagram

Carousels and Threads

Remove the metadata Meta checks before adding AI info to a post, across every slide in the carousel.

Pinterest

Pins and idea pins

Refresh pins with new file fingerprints so reposted designs are treated as new uploads.

How it works

Clean 20 images in one go

  1. Add your images

    Drop up to 20 JPG, PNG or WebP files, or paste them straight from your clipboard.

  2. Remove AI content

    C2PA Content Credentials and AI tags in EXIF, IPTC and XMP are removed, and each image gets its own invisible variation.

  3. Post the set

    On iPhone, save the whole set to Photos in one tap. On desktop, download a ZIP.

Shot on iPhone. Allegedly.

Pick the phone your file should say it came from, or leave it on Random. Random picks a realistic model on every run, weighted toward the phones people actually carry, so a batch of posts never looks like it came from one device.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How do I remove the AI info label on Instagram and Facebook?

Meta adds AI info automatically when an image carries C2PA Content Credentials or IPTC metadata that marks it as AI generated. HideSlop removes both and writes normal camera metadata, so there is nothing for the automatic label to read. A label can still be added if you disclose AI use yourself or a reviewer flags the post.

How do I remove AI metadata from an image?

Drop the image in and press Remove AI content. The C2PA manifest and AI tags in EXIF, IPTC and XMP are removed, the pixels get an invisible variation, and the file is re-saved as a photo from the phone you pick.

Does it work for TikTok and Instagram slideshows?

Yes. Upload up to 20 images at once. Each image gets its own variation, and you can save them all to Photos in one tap on iPhone or download a ZIP on desktop.

Which AI image generators does it support?

All of them. Files from ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion, Flux and others are handled the same way, because HideSlop rewrites the whole file instead of hunting for one tag.

Will image quality drop?

Images are saved at 92 to 97 percent JPEG quality by default, the same range phone cameras use. You can raise it to 100 in Custom mode.

What does an image cost?

Every IP address gets one free removal, either one video or one image, with no account. After that an image costs 1 credit, so a 10 image slideshow uses 10 credits.

Does it remove invisible watermarks like SynthID?

Pixel watermarks such as SynthID are built to survive edits, so no tool can honestly promise to remove them. HideSlop changes every pixel, which disrupts many fingerprinting methods. What we can promise is that the embedded AI metadata is removed and the file is brand new.

What happens to my files?

Uploads go straight from your browser to private storage under random keys and are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Finished files are deleted 24 hours after processing. Your content is never used for training and never shared.

Is this allowed?

Editing files you own or have rights to is legal. Some platforms ask creators to disclose realistic AI content, and you are responsible for following the rules of the platforms you post to.
